Ornua is pleased to announce the appointment of Ciara O’Callaghan to Brand Director. Ciara will lead Ornua’s global innovation, packaging, insights and marketing team to develop and execute the brand marketing strategy for the Group’s brand portfolio. Ornua is Ireland’s largest exporter of primary Irish dairy products, with annualised sales of c. €2 billion across 110 countries.
A key focus of Ciara’s role will be to ensure that distinctive and compelling brand positions are delivered globally for Ornua’s portfolio of premium Irish dairy brands including Kerrygold, Pilgrims Choice, Dubliner, Shannongold, Forto and BEO Milk Powder.
Ciara joined Ornua in 2011 as Global Insights Director where she was responsible for delivering insights and research to drive growth for Irish dairy products which are renowned worldwide for their unique and rich grass-fed taste. Prior to joining Ornua, Ciara held senior brand and research roles with some of Ireland’s leading companies including eircom and Kerry Foods. Ciara has also held senior roles with agency Information Partners as well as heading up her own research and strategy company.
In her new role Ciara will report to Róisín Hennerty, CEO Americas & Global Marketing Director. Commenting on the appointment, Róisín Hennerty said:
