Boland Farm

David and Kathleen are second generation farmers in Moate, Co Westmeath.

They have four children; Niall, Fiona, Damian and Colin. Niall and Colin are both very involved in the farm, helping out whenever they can. David took over from his father Anthony in 1980 and won the title of Aurivo Milk Supplier of the Year in 2016.

The Boland’s were finalists in the 2017 NDC & Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards, an award that sets out to find and celebrate Ireland’s top-quality milk farmers. Each year, it celebrates the unique heritage that makes Irish dairy farming so unique. Irish farming is more than just a business, it’s a way of life.
